Traficano Joins West Coast Turf

Scottsdale, AZ……West Coast Turf is pleased to announce the addition of Joe Traficano to its sales team.

Traficano graduated from University of Arizona with a B.S. in Agriculture emphasizing on turfgrass management, and a minor in Agronomy. He is also a Certified Golf Course Superintendent. Most recently, Traficano has been the superintendent at Desert Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale, where he just completed the new “Outlaw” course.

“Joe brings the expertise of a golf course superintendent and turf manager to our sales staff. He understands the requirements of the “other side” of the business. I believe West Coast Turf and our customers both will benefit greatly from his knowledge,” said Jeff Cole, Vice-President of Sales. “We feel extremely privileged to add him to our West Coast Turf family.”

Traficano has had experience with both cool-season and warm-season turfgrasses, bentgrass grow-in and maintenance, golf course construction, and sports turf management. He is also past president of the Cactus and Pine Golf Course Superintendents Association in Arizona.
