Western Sod was founded in 1972, and was acquired by West Coast Turf in 2000.  The merger proved to be a success.  West Coast Turf brings high profile professional sport field and golf course experience to the relationship.  Western Sod brought their own extensive landscape contractor, architect, homeowner, and golf course experience to the family.  And as an added bonus, Western Sod sister company Western Sere (hydroseeding, hydrostolonizing, and native revegetation) was also added to the mix. 

West Coast Turf services the golf course, sports turf, and retail outlet accounts, and Western Sod handles the landscape contractors, gardeners, and homeowners.  The end result is a “family” of companies with a diverse inventory, many years of experience, and numerous resources to accommodate any and all of your turf needs.  

Western Sod/West Coast Turf has over 1000 acres in sod production in Arizona, which means that we virtually never run out of inventory.
